At Gillotts Funeral Directors, we recognise and share the feelings of grief and sadness throughout the country during this time of national mourning.
On Monday 19th September, the day of the Queen’s Funeral, we will be honouring the commitments we have made to the families we are serving who have chosen to continue with their loved one’s funerals on this day, whilst also allowing as many of our members of staff as possible to pay tribute to the Queen.
Our funeral homes will therefore be closed on Monday 19th September. Our two funeral homes holding funerals will be open for an hour prior to the departure time for the funerals in order to receive floral tributes and then will be closed as the funeral cortege leaves.
