My Funeral Wishes

Our “My Funeral Wishes” is a way for you to document your funeral wishes in as much or as little detail as you wish. For example you might simply want to document your preference for a cremation or a burial. Or you can put down on paper every little detail and personal touch you would like included.

You can either fill in the “My Funeral Wishes” form at home, or meet with one of our funeral arrangers who will talk to you about the different options available and fill in the form with you.

We will then create your “My Funeral Wishes” document, that summarises all the decisions and choices you have made. We will give you a copy and provide as many additional copies you need so you can share them with the people that will be responsible for arranging your funeral when the time comes. We will also keep a copy safely on file.

We will also provide you with an estimate of the cost of the funeral you have chosen, based on today’s prices. This will give you a total funeral cost that you can use for planning purposes, but please be aware that funeral costs, like all costs, will increase year on year. For example the average cost of a simple funeral has increased by 134% between 2004 and 2024, which is higher than the rate of inflation.
