Our Simple Attended Funeral provides a dignified and respectful service, focusing on the essential elements of a cremation or burial funeral. This option is ideal for those seeking a straightforward and cost-effective send-off.

The CMA (Competition & Markets Authority) requires all funeral directors to offer a package called the Attended Funeral and publish a Standardised Price List.

The Total Cost of Our Simple Attended Funeral

Plus additional costs for essential third party costs and the costs of any additional items or services you choose to personalise the funeral (see below).

1. The Attended Funeral Package – £2,695

We'll Arrange the Funeral on your Behalf

We’ll provide professional advice, support and guidance including a 24 hour telephone service
We’ll manage the funeral arrangements on your behalf including liaising with suppliers and venues
We’ll take care of all the necessary paperwork for the funeral to legally proceed
We’ll create an online Funeral Notice, a personalised obituary web page allowing you to easily share details of the funeral.
We can arrange to handle the collection of charitable donations and forwarding to the charity of your choice, or to family

We'll Care for the Deceased and Prepare Them for the Funeral

We’ll bring the deceased into our care at any time of day or night
We’ll care for the deceased at our funeral home and prepare them for the funeral, dressing them in a simple dressing gown.
You can use our Chapel of Rest to visit your loved one, with a pre-arranged appointment

We'll Provide a Simple, Wood-Effect Veneer Coffin

We’ll provide a simple, wood-effect veneer coffin

We'll Attend and Conduct the Funeral

Our Funeral Director will attend and conduct the service
Our Funeral Director and three bearers will travel directly to the venue where the committal is to be held – you can either meet us there or follow the Hearse from our funeral home.

2. Essential Third Party Costs

There are certain services provided by third parties that are essential for the funeral to go ahead.

These are the Crematorium, Cemetery or Churchyard fees, as well as fees for a Minister or Celebrant to lead the service.

Your written estimate will include these items which are payable to the third party. We require payment of the third party costs prior to the funeral to secure these services on your behalf.

3. Additional Extras you Choose to Personalise the Funeral

There are many simple ways to personalise a funeral, such as printed Order of Service booklets, flowers, music, readings and poems. We will talk to you about the different options and help you to decide on something fitting to honour the person who has died.
