Arranging a Funeral

We will collect the person who has died and transfer them into our care. They will rest at your chosen funeral home, in either Eastwood, Heanor, Kimberley, Stapleford or Selston.

Here our expert team of trained funeral professionals will look after them for you until the day of the funeral with the utmost care, compassion, respect and dignity.

As well as caring for the deceased, we are here to help and guide you through the process of arranging the funeral with kindness and compassion.

We will meet with you to discuss the funeral you would like us to arrange. You can come to our funeral home, we can visit you at your home, or we can speak on the telephone or on a video call. The choice is yours.

To help you decide on the funeral arrangements we will ask about the person who has died; their likes, interests and achievements, as well as what you know about their funeral wishes.

We will explore the ideas you have for the funeral, and we can advise on anything you’re unsure about.

We’ll also provide information about other options for things you may not yet have thought about, to help you to create a funeral that is truly unique and personal.

If you’re not sure whether the person who has died would have preferred a cremation, burial or something a bit different such as a direct cremation or natural burial, we’ve created an overview of what to expect for each type and style of funeral.

There are lots of ways to personalise the funeral, to honour their life and achievements and create a truly fitting goodbye.

We’ll guide you through the all the options and choices for coffins, cars, flowers as well as music and readings.

If you wish to spend some time with the person who has died before the funeral, we can arrange a private viewing for you in our Chapel Of Rest.

We have created four packages that offer varying levels of personalisation options and choices, so you can choose the level of service that you require and create a funeral best suits your needs and budget.

Our packages are: Bespoke Funeral, Simple Attended Funeral, Early Morning Cremation, Unattended Funeral and Basic Direct Cremation

The cost of the funeral varies depending on the choices you make. For each aspect of the funeral there will always be different options to suit different needs and budgets.

We will discuss the financial implications of the all the choices being considered.

We’ll also provide you with an itemised estimate, and we’ll explain each cost, working closely with you to ensure that the funeral arrangements meet your needs and budget.
