Passed Away on July 1st, 2025

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Duncan Hutchinson, beloved husband, father, friend, and cherished member of the community, who passed away peacefully after living with Alzheimer’s disease.

A funeral service to celebrate Duncan’s life will be held on:
Thursday, 17th July at 2:30 PM
Marlpool Cemetery Chapel, Heanor
Followed by interment at:
Golden Valley Woodland Burial Ground at 3:15 PM
A wake will be held at:
The Eclipse, 40 High Street, Loscoe, starting at 3:15 PM

Duncan grew up in Codnor and Loscoe before joining the RAF, and spent the last 40 years living in Waingroves; he loved Derbyshire deeply.

Please feel free to attend any or all of these locations, or none, as we know he’ll be in your hearts.
